Ribeirão Preto is a city in the state of São Paulo, Brazil, located 320 kilometers (200 miles) from Brazil’s and Latin America’s main international airport (GRU).

The beautiful city of Ribeirao Preto has over 400 places to go for a night out and features everything from fantastic nightclubs to modern bars. The city used to be called "Petit Paris" in the past, solely due to its vibrant nightlife.
The most convenient way to get to Ribeirão Preto from outside Brazil is to fly from your country to GRU Airport. Then, you can travel to Ribeirão Preto either by plane (30 minutes flight operated by Latam, Gol, Azul or Passaredo airlines) or road (bus or car – 3:30 hours. The airport of Ribeirão Preto (RAO) is small and after your arrival, you should take a taxi to your hotel.
Visitors to Brazil who are interested in visiting different regions of the country should consider the possibility of buying in advance a Brazil air pass. An air pass can only be sold outside Brazil, and to non-residents with a return air ticket.
Brazil follows the reciprocity principle concerning VISA requirements for foreign citizens from all the other countries, which ask visas for Brazilian citizens.
